Welcome to the exciting world of kindergarten!  We have so much fun learning about reading, writing, math, science and social studies.  Literature is an important part of my students' weekly reading and writing activities.  Each Friday the students participate in a literature activity that includes writing and cooking about the weekly book. We learn to measure, stir, follow directions and  work as a group.  We also write and draw pictures about our book of the week.  Field Day was AWESOME!  Many thanks to the parents who donated all the goodies for our morning snack.  What a feast....watermelon, cheese cubes, popsicles, apples, Chex-Mix, granola bars, water bottles...yummy.  Thanks so very much to the parents who stayed and helped or watched us have fun.  A big 'thank you' goes to Braydon's grandad who was fabulous in keeping everyone organized for the entire 4 hours of fun!
